Short bio

Paola Pittaluga is Full Professor of Urban and Territorial Planning at the University of Sassari, where she teaches courses related to urban and environmental planning within the Urban Planning degree programmes. She has held major academic leadership roles, including Director of the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning and Rector’s Delegate for Teaching, as well as coordination responsibilities for degree programmes and doctoral courses. Her research focuses on urban and territorial planning theories and practices, with particular attention to landscape, sustainability and the regeneration of urban and tourist contexts. She is actively involved in national and international editorial and scientific initiatives, collaborating with journals and book series in the field of urban and territorial studies, and is the author of numerous scientific publications and volumes on planning-related topics.
