Silvia Pulina Assistant Professor (RTDb) Short bio She is an Ecologist and studies how human activities and climate changes affect the functioning of aquatic ecosystems, focusing on plankton. She is also interested in the imitation of biological strategies for the development of new sustainable technologies.She graduated with honors in Natural Sciences and holds a PhD in Natural Sciences.She was a Visiting Post-Doc at the Marine Research Center in Helsinki in 2012.She obtained a grant from DAAD German Academic Exchange Service and from Young Researchers Mobility Program of University of Sassari to work as Visiting Researcher at GEOMAR Helmholtz Center for Ocean Research in Kiel in 2019.She authored more than 40 scientific articles published in international journals and contributed to more than 40 scientific conferences.She coordinates two national relevance research projects, one funded by Lifewatch Italy 2018, and one funded by the Italian Ministry for University and Research PRIN 2022.
