Alessandro Spila Associate Professor Short bio Architect, specialist in Architectural and Landscape Heritage, PhD in History of Architecture (Sapienza University of Rome, 2010), he has been TD researcher at the Polytechnic University of Turin (2019-2022) and since 2023 associate professor of History of Architecture (SSD ICAR 18) at Dadu. His research activity focuses on Italian and European architecture between the 16th and 18th centuries. He is a research appointee at the Centro Studi sulla Cultura e l'Immagine in Rome, a member of the Scientific Board of the journal “Studi sul Settecento romano” (Anvur, Class A) and of the “Annali dell'Accademia di San Luca.” He has held teaching contracts at Sapienza University of Rome and assignments from the Ministry of Culture. In 2015-2017 he was Marie Curie IF at the HU Berlin, where he received the Humboldt Talent Award in 2018. He is the author of numerous studies on the history of architecture and the city that have appeared in miscellaneous volumes and international journals.
