Elena Bossini is a PhD student in the Department of Architecture, Design, and Urban Planning. She holds a degree in Philosophical Sciences from the University of Milan, and her research interests lie at the intersection of the philosophy of food and animal ethics. Her PhD project aims to explore the ethical implications of meat consumption within the context of emerging food technologies. Specifically, the project investigates how the design and planning of cultured meat production facilities influence the conceptualization of this foodstuff and the relationship between human and non-human animals.
