Short bio

In 2020, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Sassari with a thesis based on an Erasmus+ internship at the Universidad de Murcia, within the TAPAS project (HORIZON 2020) on aquaculture sustainability. In 2023, he graduated with honors with a Master's degree in Marine Bio-Ecology from the University of Cagliari, with a thesis on the chemical sensitivity of Paracentrotus lividus to amino acids of potential nutritional relevance. In the same year, he was a research fellow at the University of Cagliari, conducting monitoring of small-scale fisheries in the Marine Protected Area of Sinis – Mal di Ventre Island. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Sassari within the PRIN 2022 research project “A warmer future world: effects on plankton communities and pathogens in Mediterranean vulnerable ecosystems”, funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
