Short bio

Between 2018 and 2020, Paola Dore attended the Master’s Degree program in Architecture, Design curriculum, at DADU in Alghero, focusing on audiovisual communication and animation. In 2019, she took part in the NeoLocal Design Summer Workshop on Stop Motion technic, creating a short animated film on the theme of incarceration in Sardinia. With her Master’s Thesis, she animated multimedia inserts for an exhibition on Italian moka and coffee culture, to be displayed at the Tianjin Design Week 2020 in China, curated by the Animazionedesign Laboratory. Her Master’s Thesis project, titled "Auditions for Coffee Makers", received a grade of 110 cum laude and was awarded and included in the 2021 ADI Design Index, in the Targa Giovani section. She is currently enrolled in the PhD program in Architecture and Environment at DADU in Alghero, carrying out research in the field of Exhibit Design and Multimedia, while also working as a university tutor.
