Short bio

PhD candidate at the University of Sassari in the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning, within the framework of the ‘Innovative doctorates responding to the innovation needs of businesses’, is developing a research project investigating the possible applications of representation tools for the spatial management of the medical-health environment. Through surveying and digital representation of medical and healthcare environments, it is possible to visualise environments and procedures in augmented and virtual reality. In particular, it investigates the potential applications of the digital twin in medical health facility management, specifically how, through the digitisation and representation of the structure and activities, it is possible to streamline the management process, making it space, time, and cost-efficient in the hospital facility.
