Short bio

Davide Confalonieri is pursuing a PhD in Architecture and Environment at the University of Sassari. After earning his Master’s degree in Architecture with honours, alongside design experience in urban, archaeological and environmental projects, and participation in international programmes, he directed his academic interests toward Renaissance architectural history. His doctoral research examines the intellectual networks surrounding the reception of De Architectura and the formation of architectural theory, with a particular focus on the Roman academies of the sixteenth century.
