Short bio

Fabio Molinas is an Industrial Designer with a research and design profile developed across Italy, Spain, and Portugal. After completing his education in industrial design between Italy and Lisbon, he carried out professional and research activities in Milan and, since 2011, in Madrid, working in the fields of product, interior, and strategy design. His work focuses on process innovation, experimentation with new materials, and transdisciplinary approaches oriented toward environmental and social sustainability. He is the author of the OLTU project, a sustainable food preservation system selected and awarded in international contexts. He is co-founder of Lèbiu, an applied research startup dedicated to the development of bio-based materials derived from Sardinian cork waste for the fashion, interior, and automotive sectors, following circular economy models. He has received numerous awards, including the title of Maestro dell’Innovazione d’Eccellenza.
