Daniela Chessa Contract Lecturer Short bio She studied Art and later Product Design, graduating with a thesis supervised by Andries Van Onck. Her thesis project was selected for the 20th ADI Compasso d’Oro Award, exhibited at the Triennale di Milano, and published in the ADI Index. Her academic background was rooted in the principle of “form follows function”, later evolving in response to changing design paradigms, aesthetic values, and the transformation of design, during the transition between the two millennia and the digital era. She works on product design, packaging, and communication. During the early years of the Design degree in Alghero, she worked as a teaching assistant in Interaction Design and Product Design courses. She is a coach and teaches effective communication, promoting the development of soft skills in both design education and organisational contexts. She collaborates with public and private institutions, contributing to training initiatives in the healthcare, educational, and creative sectors.
