Erasmus+ for Traineeship letter of intents

The definition of the ‘Erasmus+ for Traineeship Letter of Intent’ is fundamental and necessary for all Erasmus+ for Traineeship structured type of mobility for which the Department must agree with the host institution. In fact, the letter of intent acts as an agreement between the Department and the host institution and contains important information such as the contact details of the host institution, its willingness to host a certain number of trainees, the professional field of reference, the duration of the traineeship, the insurance coverage of the trainees and the commitment of the host institution to issue the required paperwork for the completion of the mobility. The letter is drafted in English, the vehicular language of the Erasmus+ Programme.

The letter of intent is drawn up before the opening of the call in which the Department's structured mobility offers will be published.

The Department currently has active letters of intent with 18 international companies in the various fields of architecture, urbanism and design to which new agreements are added every year.

Letters of intent are drawn up in particular for the structured mobility of students on Bachelor's degree courses, unless the host institution makes a specific request to receive only students on Master's degree courses. This is because for the mobility of students on master's degree courses and for those following the achievement of the degree, individual mobility is favoured, allowing candidates to undertake mobility that is relevant to the career path they have decided to follow.
