The 5th edition of the UNIMED Award is a collateral prize to the Venice International Film Festival to be assigned by a jury of international students coming from UNIMED associated universities.

The 78th edition of the Venice International Film Festival will be held from 1 to 11 September 2021. 

The UNIMED Award is part of the collaboration between UNIMED and la Biennale di Venezia, one of the most important international contemporary art exhibitions and, in particular, the Venice Film Festival.

The UNIMED award will concur with other already-established awards and the jury will have one week to evaluate the movies and award the prize to the winner, according to the film’s sensitivity on the issues of cultural diversity and integration.

In this framework, UNIMED gives the opportunity to students pursuing a degree in visual arts from one of its associated universities to be part of the jury.
