URBAN DIVERSITIES AND LANDSCAPES IN (e)MOTION
Aula 7 | Complesso di Santa Chiara - Alghero
The conference reflects on emerging forms of urban diversity resulting from many processes: new social formations in the city, transnational connections, new political powers and structures, identities changing and the dynamic nature of global migration, etc.
The concept of landscape is closely related to diversity: it is emphasized as “active” and in constant motion.
The different expert’s approaches highlight experiences in (e)motion arguing that urban diversity and the landscape can inspire creativity, innovation and make cities more livable
