Short bio

Silvia Carrus holds a degree in Food Science and Technology and a PhD in Languages and Cultures of the Modern and Contemporary Age, with a specialization in Territory and Landscape Science. She is currently a Researcher (RTD-A) in Economic and Political Geography (Scientific Sector: GEOG-01/B) at the University of Sassari, where she teaches Tourism Geography (DUMAS) and Economic and Political Geography (DADU). Her research interests include: territorial development, with particular focus on areas influenced by tourism-related activities; the enhancement of local resources; spatial diffusion processes of innovation and the interactive representation of data.
