Chiara De Santis PhD student Short bio PhD student of XXXIX cycle at the Department of Architecture and Environment, University of Sassari. Her research aims to develop mathematical models that allow the behaviour of materials to be described and predicted under extreme conditions. The research project "Innovative mathematical models for the analysis of the robustness of structures," analyses dynamic fracture phenomena with a focus on graded materials. The project is carried out in collaboration with the company Indagini Strutturali S.r.l., where she has the opportunity to apply the skills acquired and deepen its knowledge. In her research she easily uses the different common digital tools and technical software such as AutoCad, Solidworks, COMSOL, Matlab. She is also studying the mechanical properties of mematerials and pantographs and 3D printing, with particular interest in SLS (Selective Laser Sintering). She participates in conferences, workshops and scientific events. Research activities Research products by Chiara De Santis on IRIS UNISS Contacts Chiara De Santisc.desantis2@phd.uniss.it
