Associate Professor

Degree in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Reggio Calabria in 1997 and PhD in 2003 (XV° cycle) with a thesis entitled "Transformation and reuse of historical building heritage. Regulatory adaptation and compatibility of interventions. Guidelines for a pre-test methodology". Associate Professor in Technological and Environmental Design of Architecture (SSD CEAR-08/C) since November 2018.
The research areas concern the refurbishment of the built environment in line with environmental sustainability approaches, focusing on materials with low environmental impact and technological innovation of waste materials in the construction sector. Scientific referent of industrial research and development projects financed by competitive tenders and a consultant for public bodies and local authorities in Sardinia. Author of numerous scientific articles in international journals, for which he is also an editorial reviewer.
