Innovation and enterprise

Over the years, lecturers and former students have participated and still participate in the development of entrepreneurial ideas born out of the study and research activities carried out within the Department. Among the recent initiatives is the newly-established Spin Off Geomars, an innovative enterprise involving employees of the Department and dealing mainly with environmental protection, technological innovation or scientific research in the field of geophysics, planetary geology and environmental sciences.
