Short bio

Antonello Marotta (Alghero 1968). Architect and architectural theorist, he graduated in Naples, where he also obtained a PhD in architectural design. His work explores the relationship between architecture and territory, and the connections between the present and the past. Among his books are: Ben van Berkel. He published the essay Typology Quarterly: Museums in the international journal The Architectural Review. His most recent publications include: Ensamble Studio; Giovanni Maciocco. He teaches in the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning in Alghero, University of Sassari, where he is an Associate Professor in architectural design.
