Short bio

Giovanni Maria Biddau, architect and researcher in Architectural and Urban Design, specializes in design research exploring the relationship between architecture and water landscapes. He teaches architectural and urban design at DADU at the University of Sassari, where he has also lectured in the Doctoral School of Architecture and Environment and in second-level Master's programs in the Departments of Architecture and Law. A member of the LEAP (Laboratory on Environmental and Architectural Project) research group at DADU, he collaborates with public institutions on projects related to water landscapes. He has coordinated international teams in collaboration with the École d’Architecture of Université Laval (Canada), the Faculdade de Arquitectura in Lisbon (Portugal), ENAU in Tunis (Tunisia), and the Department of Urbanism at the University of Seville (Spain). His work has been published and presented at both national and international conferences and in academic journals.
