Incoming mobility for Study The Department created a network of Erasmus+ for study agreements that has developed over the years to a current number of 75 agreements, including agreements with partner universities outside Europe. These agreements make it possible to welcome a significant number of international students each year who spend part of their university career in Alghero. Erasmus incoming study mobility is the most numerous for our Department, thanks also to the KA171 International Credit Mobility Programme, which allows us to support the mobility of double degree students from Tunisia, and the new Blended Intensive Programme under which 20 students from France and Portugal were hosted this year. The constant presence of international students at all levels of education fosters the creation of a multicultural environment within the Department that encourages local students to experience mobility abroad. Degree programmes The Department of Architecture, Design and Town Planning offers three three-year graduate Bachelor level programmes:Architecture and design sciences Urban and landscape planning. Environmental project of cities and territoriesDesignBesides the Bachelor degree courses the Department offers two two-year Master level programmes in:ArchitecturePlanning and policies for the City, Environment and LandscapeFurthermore, the Department offers a PhD programme:Dottorato in Architecture and EnvironmentPlease note that only students coming from partner universities in the field of Design may have access to the courses of the Bachelor Degree in Design. Our courses Course Units & Online Learning Agreement Each year the educational offer of the Department is approved by the Ministry of Education around the middle of June. Soon after the approval a course unit list in English and in Italian is shared with the Department incoming students together with the guidelines for the Online Learning Agreement definition. For each year and each course, in the course unit list the first educational block refers to the project laboratory. The students cannot choose more than one project laboratory per semester and should they choose course units from different degree programmes or from different years of study, there may be timetable conflicts. At our Department attendance to at least 80% of each course is mandatory, therefore, overlapping may be an issue as students who do not meet the attendance requirements will not be admitted to the exams. Also, it is most important to understand that it is not possible to choose single modules from an interdisciplinary Project Laboratory block/ course unit as the modules are almost always integrated. For the definition and approval of the Online Learning Agreement, the students should contact the referent teacher for their University at our Department as described in the Referent Teacher List published on this page and also shared via email with our incoming students.
