Research activity at DADU

DADU's research activity is based on the project as a cognitive device and agent of transformation of the built and unbuilt space, the city, the territory and the environment. The disciplines of architecture, town planning and design are articulated in a systematic dialogue with related and complementary knowledge in order to contribute to the development of a design culture oriented towards sustainability, social inclusion and innovation. This intrinsically interdisciplinary approach is aimed at intercepting the complex challenges of contemporary and future societies, promoting advanced forms of scientific investigation and knowledge transfer. The international dimension of research is considered strategic and is constantly strengthened through well-established cooperation networks with globally recognised professors, research centres, universities and professional firms.
