LACHE | Laboratory for the Analysis and Conservation of Cultural Heritage Research activities It was founded in 2009 and carries out research and educational activities in the field of Cultural Heritage, with particular reference to historical architecture, the following activities are carried out:Analysis of the historical stratifications of architectural factories; historical registers of significant phases; bibliographic and archival research aimed at the historical-critical characterization of the artifact in view of its restoration;Survey for architectural restoration: geometric-dimensional; material-structural;Non-destructive diagnostic campaigns;Analysis and representation of the state of defects: degradation and damage;Evaluation of the intervention program;Structural checks and design of consolidation elements;Design of databases for cultural heritage and software for archiving and managing the project and construction site;Census of cultural heritage and historical centers;Observatory and collection center for techniques and products for restoration;Observatory and collection center for elementary prices and costs of individual processes in the restoration sector.In summary, LACHE is active in research by activating scientific collaborations, consulting on behalf of private individuals and public bodies and organization of conferences and courses. Equipment and software Infrared thermographic camera;Equipment for investigations using GEORADAR RIS (2-channel multi-frequency array with 200 – 600_e 1700 MHz band) for the identification of cavities, discontinuities at seabed level and in elevations both for the evaluation of hidden sections of casings and resistant elements and for the recording of ongoing or potential damage phenomena.Video inspection kit capable of real-time inspections on facings, resistant sections and foundations for the exact qualitative survey of the layers and the state of conservation;System for sonic and ultrasonic measurements for non-destructive, on-site and off-site checks of the quality of materials and their characteristics.
